We booked the Fantasmic Dinner show after reading several
favorable reviews and we could not have been happier. We
decided to book this for our first day there, which also
happened to be Father's Day. This is a great way to start
your magical Disney vacation. We ate at Hollywood and Vine
and it was a great choice as we had seven adults and 3
small children. The selection was fantastic and our waiter
Devon was fantastic. After noticing our "picky" 6 year old
wasn't finding anything to his liking he quickly went next
door to the 50's Primetime Diner and showed up with a
great big
basket of French Fries, problem solved! When you do enter
at Oscar's for the show, know in advance that there is a
long walk to the ampitheater! We left our strollers
thinking we would not need them for this outing, we wished
we would have had them! By the time we arrived, which was
45 minutes prior to the show the other sections
of the theater were full and we were glad we didn't have
to stand in the lines to get our seats. The show is
fabulous and a must-see for all ages. We will definitely
do this again on our next visit!

I am leaving the town because I met the love of my life, He's cute. We live 2000 miles apart but he traveled to see me and next week I am going to see him and meet his family. My friend is looking for a parking spot in the downtown core of Ottawa for $100 a month or less. Any leads are appreciated. This spot would be occupied daily, excluding weekends.

People fear catching a cold. Medicine for preventing this is a multi-billion dollar industry. Catching a cold, however, is a fact of life. So, when you're sick you might as well make the most of it. Treat a sick day the same way you did when you were a child staying home from school. Turn it into an opportunity to pamper yourself for a day.

Sleep. Being sick is your opportunity to sleep as much as you want, so take advantage of it. Sleep until late in the afternoon. Then, after spending a couple of hours awake, take another nap. This is the one time that no one can criticize you for sleeping as much as you want.

Eat food that makes you happy. That is, of course, provided you can eat food. When you have a cold, it’s not the time to count calories. Order in the food that you usually deny yourself. Or, if you are on a strict chicken soup and orange juice diet, you can still sneak in a treat for yourself. Something like ice cream is always a welcome sick day treat.

Be lazy. There is no reason to work hard when you’re sick. Sit back and relax. Order in food instead of cooking. Don’t worry about cleaning for one or two days. Spend hours lying on the couch under several blankets watching TV, listening to music, or even reading a book.

Go back to the things you love. Watch the same movie that you’ve seen 80 times and know every word to. Listen to the CD you loved when you were in college. Read the book that never fails to inspire you. Sick days are not days for trying new things; they’re for returning to what is comfortable. Use illness as an excuse to return to those special things.

Spend time alone. This is especially true if you live with one or more people. Everyone needs alone time. A sick day is your opportunity. While your housemates are at work, or school, or wherever—you have the house to yourself. Revel in the solitude.

I was wondering if anyone would have a puppy that they can't find a home for. I am often alone at home during the day and would love the company of a puppy that I can take for walks, play with, and cuddle with. I've wanted one for a long time now, but can't afford ALOT of money for a dog like most prices like 300. or something silly like that. I was hoping that someone may be able to help me out with clothing. Up until recently, I was able to work outside the home along with my husband. However due to a medical problem with my knees needing to be replaced, I have become house bound. I feel utterly embarrassed asking for help but the truth is I need it. I was hoping that someone may have some clothing size 18-24 month gymboree for a baby girl, or any clothing for a boy size 6-6x. This change of income has devastated our family and any help is appreciated.

　

The only reason I ask for gymboree is that my daughter is oddly proportioned and it seems to be the only clothing that fits properly. Her torso is very long and her legs are a tad shorter. All other brands have to be altered which adds more $ that we don't have at the present. As soon as we are on our feet again financially, I will be happy to do the same for others and hand down more clothing or return the borrowed clothing. Thank-you so much. I find this so hard to be asking for help as I have never needed it before. I will return the favour many times over to other families who find themselves in the same situation. God Bless.

Hello, I am selling a white Westinghouse fridge, it is about 10yrs old but is in excellent working condition. White in color with black handles. We are down sizing and will not need this anymore. It is great for blowing the leaves into a pile and then the vac picks it up and as blowing it into a bag it mulches the leaves. I have for sale a dehydrator that I built myself about 12 years ago using the plans from a book about drying foods. It measures 24 X24 inches, and stands 36 inches high. Inside are 6 trays, which means a lot of stuff can be dryed at one time. I built it back when we were doing a lot of wilderness trips, and it works great. It has a thermostatically controlled element at the bottom, and vents at the top. In excellent shape. I can supply more pics if you wish.

Hello, it is nearing May 1st and I am desperately looking for someone to rent my room in this 3 bedroom apt. it is in downtown Ottawa. A 1 minute walk from the Loblaws, 10 min. walk from Ottawa U, the apt. is fully furnished, stove fridge, microwave, couches, the bedroom is not fully furnished though. There is a washer and dryer in the apt. The apt. is near the Byward market and all the bars etc for those who enjoy partying!
