Two men are charged with
stealing copper from a cable
company and police believe both are behind a rash of
similar thefts.
The Floyd County Times reports state police arrested 23
year old Jacob Tackett and 22 year old Jonathan Robinette
earlier this week. A state trooper apparently saw them
stealing cable at Gearheart Communications. The company
says hundreds of customers lost service because of the
theft.
Both Tackett and Robinette face theft related charges.

last.
The okapi, an African animal so elusive that it was once
believed to be a
mythical
unicorn, has
been photographed
in the wild for the
first time, the Zoological Society of
London.
Camera traps
set by the ZWL and the Congolese Institute
for Nature Conservation, (ICCN) captured pictures of the
okapi in Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic
of the Congo.
The pictures have dispelled fears that the species had
died out in more than a decade of civil war.
"Okapi are very shy and rare animals, which is why
conventional surveys only tend to record droppings and
other signs of their presence."
The okapi, which have a black, giraffe-like tongue and
zebra-like stripes on their behind, were last spotted in
the Virunga National Park nearly 50 years ago on the west
bank of the Semliki River.
"We have already identified three individuals, and further
survey work will enable us to estimate population numbers
and distribution in and around the park, which is a
critical first step in targeting conservation efforts."
Okapi meat, reportedly from the Virunga park, is now on
sale in the nearby town of Beni and ZWL warned that if
hunting continues at the current rate, okapi could become
extinct in the park within a few years.

Pampers
I will go to camp with friends, but I don't want them laugh
at me because of my diaper.
How can I go to camp and don't let them find me wearing

Go to the drug store and buy yourself the Poise panties.
They are plain white and fit close to your body just like
regular panties and unless someone gets really close or
knows what they are looking at they won't know the
difference.
They are made for women that have problems with leaking
urine or who have heavy flow during their periods. They
are a little pricey compared to regular diapers but for
the peace of mind that they would give you it will be
worth it, at least while you are at camp. |
Giving away a working full sized washing machine.
It works, except it does make a louder then normal grinding noise
sometimes, and once in a while leaves a white film on clothes.

We can no longer take proper care of our large
puppy. He is a fully trained lovable Great Pyrenees, he is on the
large end of the breed at 34 inches and 155 pounds. He is 4 years
old and is very sociable with other animals and children. He is
prone to ear infections, however in working with our vet we have
found that a special diet has eliminated the ear infections. He comes
with food, bowl, blanket, brushes and leads.
