THE place to go for shopping, dining, and nightlife is the
Hillcrest area of SD. Specifically University Avenue. If you like a
gay male meat market, then Hamburger Mary's on University is not to
be missed. Even if you are straight, this neighborhood is so diverse
and fun!!
All
people love music, but some love it more than others. And you don't
choose your passion for music—it chooses you. Graduates of the
Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences work as engineers in
recording studios, on concert tours, working on movies, and even in
radio or television broadcasting.
It's Labor Day Weekend...The heat builds here...and the
tropics stay hot too!
Hey Folks...I hope the middle and end of your week has
been a good one and that you are all ready for a nice
relaxing holiday weekend. I did want to post a quick
update before we hit the weekend, and I figured things
were getting pretty stale with that Tuesday post still
hanging around...lol.
The week for me has been a good one...although I haven't
done too much relaxing just yet. Between chasing the girls
around and trying to get some stuff done around the house
I've been sitting on for 6 months...man I'm beat...lol. It
should be a good pool day Saturday, we've got a little
Cats-Cards party to check out Sunday, and we are cooking
out Monday so it should be lots of fun the rest of the way
in.
Let me preface all this by saying I've looked at very
little the last couple of days as far as the models go
since that's one of the last things I want to do when I'm
trying to "detox" from the daily grind. That being said I
have checked out the progress of both Gustav and Hanna,
which look to really shake things up heading into next
week.
Gustav continues to strengthen and it looks to be a done
deal for being a major hurricane out in the Gulf over the
holiday weekend. The official NHC reack has it west of New
Orleans, but this far out anything goes. After the fiasco
of Katrina (ironically 3 years ago today) it's smart that
the powers that be in Louisiana aren't taking any chances
and are being proactive with the storm preps. I guess
lesson learned there.

My boy was thinking of
